**US Employment Report (Jobs Report)**

Shows health of US economy in terms of employment

Big numbers 
- **Number of jobs created** in month prior to release
	- (non farm payrolls)
- **Unemployment rate** (those in the labour force who can't get a job) <- lagging indicator
- **Wage inflation** - how much people's hourly wage is up compared to the previous year, could trigger interest rate increase
